Here’s How to Order Your Custom Table or Wall Art!

Here are the easy steps!

It’s an easy process. You can start with either a phone call or email to me. Here is a list of things that will help to get things rolling.

1) What type of table or art work do you want? Many of my clients aren’t sure when we start but having a discussion about it helps to clarify what you are looking for.

2) Is there a specific room or space where you want to put the piece?

3) Are there specifics you want to include or exclude such as the color of the stone or inlay for the piece? Are there existing colors in the room that you specifically want to bring out or are you looking for a “statement” piece, one that immediately attracts attention when entering the room?

4) The dimensional aspect is important; narrow or wide, big or petite, long or compact, accent or statement.

5) If it is a table, what about the legs? I like using metal legs that accent but don’t overpower the piece.

6) Once I have the basic information I can provide a range on the price and the time line to complete. In certain situations I may not have the inventory in stock and will need to price it out before providing a range.

Here’s how The it Works!

There are several things that happen before creating a custom art piece whether its a table or wall art. The first thing is conversation about what you want and identifying the space where the art (table or wall piece) will go. Then we talk about the existing color pallet where the piece will be. That leads to discussion on the type of wood. You will usually have three to four options unless you already know the type of wood you want. Next comes the discuss on the inlay including the stone. Even if you are not able to come by the show I will do a video of several options on the inlay. It’s amazing just how different combinations of stone give the wood a totally different feel. IF it is a table we have a conversation on options for the legs. Like the stone, the style of the legs also provides different perspective. From that point I keep you updated with pictures or video of the piece right up to it’s completion.
