Coolibah (Eucalyptus coolabah) is found across arid inland to the costalarea of Australia. The name coolibah comes the native Australian word gulabaa. The wood from the coolibah tree is one of the densest woods in the world. The tree can grow to a height of fifty feet with a diameter up to three feet. The heartwood is brown, pink and shades of red. The sapwood tends to be grayish and yellowish white.

The finish contains three coats of Salad Bowl Finish; sanded after each coat. The finish brings out the unique characteristics of the coolibah and is food safe.
