Claro Walnut Coffee Table

Claro Walnut Coffee Table

$1,850.00

Claro walnut is found in Northern California and Oregon. A variation is also found in the eastern United States. The most common source is from orchards but also from walnut that has been used for ornamental purposes. The wood is marbled with violet, brown and black streaks swirling around burl “eyes”. This walnut is from Oregon.

Copper is the inlay. It is typically found in multiple states in the U.S. including Utah, Arizona, Montana, Michigan and New Mexico. Copper is very malleable and has a beautiful reddish-brown color that accents the Claro Walnut.

The finish contains five coats of Tung oil with varnish; sanded after each coat. Tung oil brings out the unique characteristics of the wood.
